Artists Village US Agricultural Project

In the summer of 2010 AV's NY based student group launched their first agricultural project. These students got down and dirty and worked together to grow watermelons, cantalopes, cucumber's, lima beans, etc. as a true representation of "practicing what you preach".

Coming up with the idea themselves, the students are eager to share their experience with other youth in Haiti; thereby encouraging them to grow their own crops.

It is our belief, that if each student in Haiti were to plant one tree a year that action would help turn Haiti from brown to green within five years.
